You can stomp on regular enemies like Goombas and Koopas most of the time, You can also kill enemies above him by jumping to hit the brick when the enemy is standing on it, this is the only way to defeat them before small mario transforms into super mario. If Regular Mario eats a Red Mushroom he becomes into Super Mario, doubling his height and gaining the power to break bricks above him.
The green mushroom will give him a 1UP extra life, It is a rare item found in hidden brick or hard-to-reach places.
When Mario eats a Fire Flower he will transforms Mario into Fire Mario can hurl bouncing fireballs from his hand to defeat many distant enemies safely by throwing fireballs that travel along the ground. (A small Mario must first become Super Mario before a Fire Flower can turn him into fully fiery).
If Mario touches a Starman, he gains temporary invincibility, flashes with bright rainbow colors, runs faster, and any enemy he touches is beaten at once. This superpower is a temporary form and doesn’t last very long so use it quickly.
After Mario finally defeats Bowser in the final castle, he reaches Princess Peach and the words "Thank you Mario! Your quest is over. We present you with a new quest." You can then pick any level to choose from and play there again. Restart from any unlocked world using a specific controller trick, and experience higher difficulty spikes.
